Rule Deployment Wizard Failed to initialize the Rule Management Subsystem

Hy community,


ich versuche, mittels rule deployment wizard (am exchange server, auf dem die crm mailbox liegt und auch der router installiert ist) die regeln auf die postfächer der crm user zu verteilen.(ich = crm systemadministrator, domainadmin, exchangeadmin)


alles funktioniert problemlos: ich wähle den crm server, wähle die user.. aber wenn ich dann einen task auswähle ( "veryfying rule" or "deploy rule") dann bekomme ich folgenden error:
Failed to initialize the Rule Management Subsystem


wenn ich den wizard zu ende ausführe (natürlich mit failure und succeeded = 0) und anklicke, dass ich die detailierte fehlermessage angezeigt bekommen möchte, öffnet sich ein xml mit folgedem text:


Microsoft.CRM.Tools.ExchangeConnectorDeployment.RuleDeploymentException: Failed to initialize the rule management subsystem. --> System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException (0x80040154): COM object with CLSID {long number....} is either not valid or not registered.at Microsoft.CRM.Tools.ExchangeConnectorDeployment.RuleDeploymentSession.GetInboxRules (DirectoryEntry userDirectoryEntry)

Tut mir leid, hierzu habe ich auch keinen Lösungsansatz finden können.


Ich würde es in diesem Fall einen Case beim MBS-Support aufmachen (01805/67-23 30, 8:00-18:00 Uhr).


Falls die eine Lösung gefunden haben, wäre ein Feedback hier sehr schön.

tja, MBS konnte mir hier auch nicht wirklich weiterhelfen. ihre erste ansage war: installieren Sie das router update (was nichts anderes ist, als eine deinstallation des alten und neuinstallation des 2007 kompatiblen routers)


ich weigerte mich mal. dann haben wir alles mögliche versucht, berechtigungen setzen, etc etc... letztendlich hab ich doch den router deinstalliert und den neuen für 2007 (obowhl der kunde gar nicht 2007 exchange hat) installiert. jetzt funkt alles fein. die installation hat auch keine probleme gemacht.


mehr kann ich leider dazu auch nicht sagen. MS weiß selber nicht, woher der fehler kommt...

falls es jemanden interessiert:


beim ausführen des rule deployment wizards erscheint in dem screen, wo die emailadresse der crm mailbox steht, drunter zum anhaken: deploy disabled rules.


anbei die erklärung, wozu das gut sein soll:


When running the CRM Rule Deployment Wizard on the second screen you have to specify the 'Forward e-mail address' and you get the option of a checkbox 'Deploy disabled rules'.


Checking the box will deploy the rule to the user's mailbox but the rule will be disabled. Leaving the box unchecked will deploy the rule as active to the user's mailbox.


You can check the difference from Outlook, Tools, Rules and Alerts, if the rule was deployed with the box checked the rule will be disabled and the checkbox next to the rule ‘MSCRMForward’ will be empty, if the rule was deployed with the box unchecked the rule will be active and the checkbox next to ‘MSCRMForward’ will be checked.


This option exists only to those situations where you want in the future to enable the rule, only that. To enable the rules that come disabled after selecting the option "Deploy disabled rules", we should go to Outlook, Tools, Rules and Alerts, look for the rule MSCRMForward and select the checkbox that is close to the rule.
